On this page you will find frequently asked questions which hopefully will answer any query about office diner and using the office diner website. If your question is not answered on this page please contact us and we will answer it as soon as possible.
How many people do your platters feed?
Our sandwich and specialty bread platters serve on average 5-6 people, and our finger food, sweet treat and fruit platters serve 4 people each. But we hate waste! So if we think you are overordering (or underordering) we will always let you know.
Do you only cater meetings?
Not at all! Have a look at our menu, we can deliver for your party, lunch or other occasion Monday to Friday 7am to 6 pm. And weekends and evenings by request.
Will you deliver it to me?
We deliver everywhere in and around London! If your postcode is outside our usual area please call us, we may be able to deliver to you for a fee.
What are your delivery times?
We deliver lunch and breakfast separately, as we make everything fresh each day. We operate a 45-minute delivery window, with our breakfast deliveries starting from 7.30am. We can deliver earlier, but extra charges may be applied. Lunch is delivered from 10.30am. When ordering please note that the time specified is the start of the slot so your delivery will arrive up to 45 minutes afterwards!
How much is delivery?
All deliveries have a minimum surcharge. Additional charges may apply to delivery zones further afield under a set spend. Please feel free to contact us with any further queries.

Do you cater for dietary requirements like gluten free, vegan or Halal?
We do! Gluten Free, Vegan, Halal, Lactose intolerant and more are all catered for. You can meet any dietary needs through some of our platters or with our range our sandwich or salad bags gluten free. Please add a note to our special request box about any requirements/allergies that your group has when ordering.
We regret we cannot change any of our platters for a specific request but anything unsual please aks and if we can help we will.
What about Allergies?
We take food allergies very seriously and do everything we can to keep our customers safe, please inform us of any allergies or food intolerances you have at the time of ordering. We will explain which foods are safe to eat. For more detailed information please click our Allergen information link.
How late can I order?
You can order up to 3pm the day before delivery, but please feel free to contact us after this point, or on the day in question, and we will try our best to assist whenever possible.
What to do with food once delivered?
We usually recommend the food arrives 15-30minutes before its being served to give you time to set it out. If it comes earlier, then it is best to keep it stored in a fridge until needed. All our food should be consumed on the day of delivery. In ambient conditions our food can be kept for 2.5 hours before it needs to be disposed of.

How do we pay?
We ask that all new customer’s orders are paid for in advance. We will send a payment link and invoice once the order is confirmed. Following the first order, all customers have a business account with 30-day payment terms and invoices emailed on the date of delivery. You can then pay by BACS, cheque or credit / debit card via a payment link.
Do I receive an invoice with my order?
Yes, we will send out an electronic copy of the invoice the once your order is complete. If for any reason your invoice has not arrived then please send us an email to
Do you supply disposables?
We try to eliminate waste wherever possible, and promote sustainability, so do not send out disposables unless specifically requested. There is a small surcharge for disposables.
How to return catering equipment?
For canapes, hot food, tea and coffee, and some special events we will loan equipment out for the event which will need to be collected. We will always try to collect as soon as possible and will use the initial delivery details as the point of contact. There is an additional fee for the collection of these items, and there will be an added surcharge for these goods if not returned in full or are damaged.
How do we dispose of the sandwich platters?
Our branded sandwich platters are made from recycled plastic and can be placed in plastic recycling. Wherever possible we will try to collect these platters where they are then cleaned, sanitised & re-used for zero waste. For more information, please contact us.
What if our order is wrong, or we are unsatisfied with what you received?
In the unlikely event that the items you have received are incorrect, or you are unsatisfied with your delivery, please contact us immediately. All issues must be raised in writing within 12 hours of delivery. Please retain all food and take photos so we can collect them and investigate the issue further.
